Latest App Issues and Updates

At Coffee Meets Bagel, we're committed to ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for CMB daters. While we always aim for perfection, there are times when issues arise. We take full responsibility for these glitches and want to assure you that our dedicated engineering team is diligently working to address them. Below, you'll find a list of known issues we're currently addressing. If you're facing any of these, we appreciate your patience and understanding. We'll also keep this space updated with any resolutions.

Outstanding Issues:

Chat issues:

• From Oct. 5th, 2023 Thursday until Oct. 8th, 2023, many users reported that their active chats were not showing up. We sincerely apologize for this issue. The issue has been resolved. If you still do not see any of your active chats, we suggest you try killing the app and relaunching.

• Some daters are continuing to see issues with their chats. They are experiencing any of the following issues:

  • All or some of their active chats are missing
  • They can't extend chats with certain Bagels
  • Some of their chats are expiring earlier than they should
  • Some of the chats they removed are not disappearing
• If you are experiencing any of the above, we suggest you try the following. Many of our daters have been able to resolve their issues immediately through these steps:
  
  • Uninstall and reinstall the app with the latest version available in the App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Scroll to the very end of your expired chats and then return to your active chats.
• If only some of your active chats are missing, please see this article "I can't find my chats" to understand why that might have happened.

Other issues:

• Skip the line: Some of our daters are getting prompted to purchase Skip the Line feature when they should have unlimited Skip the Line. We are investigating this issue and will update here when the issue has been resolved.
• Preferences not meeting: Some of our daters are not getting Bagels that meet their preferences, particularly their height preference. We are investigating this issue and will update here when the issue has been resolved.

Recently Resolved Issues:

• Fewer bagels in the Suggested or Discover sections
• Issues with bagel photos not displaying, or daters' own photos not being visible to their matches.
• Boost missing
