If you are having trouble receiving the verification code, using the latest app version will also allow the app to provide you with a precise error message about why you're not receiving the code. Here's a guide to understand the potential error messages you might encounter:

Error Message	What It Means
Hmm...something’s not right. Make sure you’re using a valid number, then try again.	This error arises if your phone number is unable to receive SMS or if it's VOIP or non-fixed or if your app version is too old. For security reasons, we don't allow sign-ups with VOIP or non-fixed numbers, and also require our users to have a minimal app version. We recommend trying again with a different, fixed phone number capable of receiving SMS and/or trying again with the latest app version.
Too many attempts were made with this number. Please try again in 10 minutes.	This message appears when too many code requests have been sent in quick succession. We have a rate limit on code requests for security reasons. Please wait at least 10 minutes before attempting to request another code. If you still have issues after waiting for 10 minutes, please try the following troubleshooting steps: Go through the numbers you have blocked to see if you potentially blocked a number that CMB might be using to send you your code. Unblock any potential numbers using the instructions provided below. Test receiving verification codes from other services to see if it's working.
This number has been temporarily blocked as a security precaution. Try again in 24 hours.	This means your phone number may have been associated with fraudulent activities and is temporarily locked. Please try again in 24 hours. If the issue persists, please fill out this form and we'll get back to you.
The app isn’t available in your country just yet. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to create an account at this time.	We currently do not support phone number sign-ups from certain countries. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Android:

1. Go to Messages and tap on the three-dot menu in the top right corner.
2. Tap Spam & Blocked.
3. Tap on the three-dot menu, then tap Spam & Blocked to see the numbers you’re currently blocking.
4. Find the message you’d like to unblock and tap Unblock.
