Chats stay active as long as both people send at least one message within 72 hours.
Each new message resets the 72-hour timer, so the conversation needs to keep going from both sides to stay active.
If no messages are sent within 72 hours, the chat becomes inactive and will fully close 7 days after the last message.
Extending the chat after its closed
You can reopen a closed chat anytime for 99 beans (reduced from 199 beans!) and extend it for another 30 days. Once the beans are deducted, you can continue the conversation.
On both iOS and Android, this feature appears as “Extend Chat.”
